POLICIES, RETURNS & SEED CLAIMS

Moringa International

Moringa International is committed to supplying quality agricultural seeds and maintaining a transparent process for orders, packaging, seed handling, germination complaints, returns, replacements and customer support.

Customers are requested to carefully read the following terms before purchasing, storing, opening or sowing our seeds.

⸻

1. ORDER POLICY

Orders placed through Moringa International are subject to product availability, payment confirmation and successful order processing.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate:

* Name
* Delivery address
* Mobile number
* Email address
* Postal/PIN code
* Order and product information

An order may be delayed or cancelled where a product is unavailable, payment cannot be verified, the delivery information is incomplete, or circumstances beyond the Company’s reasonable control prevent fulfilment.

⸻

2. SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

Orders are normally processed and dispatched within 24–48 hours, subject to product availability and order verification.

Delivery time may vary depending on:

* Destination;
* Courier availability;
* Weather;
* Public holidays;
* Transportation conditions;
* Natural events;
* Government restrictions;
* Customs procedures for international shipments; and
* Other circumstances outside the Company’s reasonable control.

Delivery timelines displayed on the website are estimates and should not automatically be considered guaranteed delivery dates.

Customers should inspect the package after delivery.

⸻

3. DAMAGED / TAMPERED PACKAGE

If a package appears damaged, opened or tampered with at the time of delivery, customers should notify Moringa International as soon as reasonably possible.

The Company may request:

* Photographs of the outer package;
* Photographs of the shipping label;
* Photographs/videos of the product;
* Invoice/order details;
* Batch/Lot information, where available; and
* Other information reasonably required for investigation.

⸻

4. STANDARD SEED PACK SIZE

Moringa International maintains 1 kilogram (1,000 grams) as its standard commercial pack size for each seed item/variety, unless a different pack size is specifically offered or identified by the Company for that particular product.

The standard 1 kg pack represents the Company’s regular original commercial seed pack.

Customers are encouraged to purchase the standard 1 kg pack wherever possible.

⸻

5. CUSTOMER-REQUESTED QUANTITIES BELOW 1 KG

If a customer specifically requests a quantity below 1,000 grams, including:

* 500 grams;
* 250 grams;
* 100 grams;
* 50 grams; or
* Any other quantity below 1,000 grams,

the quantity will be treated as a customer-requested loose/repacked quantity and not as the Company’s standard 1 kg original commercial pack.

Such smaller quantities are supplied only upon specific customer request and subject to availability and acceptance by Moringa International.

⸻

6. LOOSE / REPACKED SEED

Where a customer requests less than 1 kg, the required quantity may be measured and packed separately from the Company’s standard 1 kg pack.

The customer acknowledges that such quantity is a customer-requested loose/repacked quantity and is not the Company’s standard unopened 1 kg original commercial pack.

The packaging, labelling and presentation of such customer-requested quantities may therefore differ from the Company’s standard 1 kg commercial packaging, subject to applicable law.

⸻

7. SOURCE OF LOOSE / REPACKED SEED

Where reasonably practicable, a customer-requested loose/repacked quantity will be sourced from an applicable original 1 kg commercial pack maintained by Moringa International.

The Company will maintain appropriate internal records to facilitate traceability between the customer-requested quantity and its source pack or relevant seed lot, to the extent required by applicable law and the Company’s record-keeping procedures.

⸻

8. LOT / BATCH INFORMATION FOR LOOSE PACKING

The Lot Number / Batch Number of the source 1 kg pack will not ordinarily be reproduced on the outer packaging of a customer-requested loose/repacked quantity, unless such identification is required by applicable law or by the Company’s applicable packaging procedure.

The absence of the original 1 kg Lot/Batch Number on the loose/repacked outer packaging does not mean that the source of the seed is untraceable.

Moringa International will maintain relevant source-pack information in its records where reasonably practicable.

⸻

9. SOURCE PACK INFORMATION ON REQUEST

If a customer requests traceability information regarding a loose/repacked quantity, Moringa International may provide the relevant information identifying the original 1 kg pack or applicable seed lot from which the quantity was prepared, subject to:

* Availability of Company records;
* Verification of the customer/order;
* Applicable law; and
* Any applicable confidentiality or regulatory requirements.

Where available, information may include:

* Product/variety;
* Source 1 kg pack identification;
* Lot Number;
* Batch Number, where applicable;
* Packing/processing information;
* Relevant date information; and
* Other appropriate traceability information.

⸻

10. TRACEABILITY RECORD

Where applicable, the Company’s internal traceability process may follow the sequence:

Source 1 kg Pack → Lot/Batch Identification → Date of Repacking → Quantity Repacked → Customer Order/Invoice

This information may be used to investigate customer complaints and maintain appropriate product traceability.

⸻

11. GOVERNMENT PACKAGING & LABELLING REQUIREMENTS

Moringa International distinguishes between its standard original 1 kg commercial pack and a customer-requested loose/repacked quantity.

A customer-requested quantity below 1 kg will not be represented as the Company’s unopened original 1 kg commercial pack.

However, nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, avoid, waive or restrict any mandatory requirement relating to seed sale, packing, marking, labelling, certification, traceability, weights and measures, consumer protection or any other applicable law.

Where a statutory requirement applies to a particular product, variety, package or transaction, Moringa International will comply with the applicable requirement.

⸻

12. SEED STORAGE AFTER DELIVERY

Customers are responsible for appropriately storing seeds after delivery.

Seeds should be protected from:

* Excessive moisture;
* Water exposure;
* Direct sunlight;
* Excessive heat;
* Insects and rodents;
* Contamination;
* Improper handling;
* Open/unsealed storage; and
* Other conditions that may adversely affect seed quality or viability.

Improper storage after delivery may affect germination and subsequent seed performance.

Customers should retain the original packaging and relevant purchase/product information until the seeds have been successfully established.

⸻

13. SEED GERMINATION POLICY

Seed germination can be affected by several factors, including:

* Seed quality;
* Storage conditions;
* Soil type;
* Soil fertility;
* Soil pH;
* Moisture;
* Irrigation;
* Temperature;
* Climate;
* Season;
* Sowing depth;
* Seed-bed preparation;
* Seed treatment;
* Pest and disease pressure; and
* Other cultivation practices.

Therefore, a reported germination problem will be investigated based on the available evidence and appropriate verification/testing.

⸻

14. 30-DAY GERMINATION COMPLAINT PERIOD

Any complaint specifically relating to seed germination should be reported to Moringa International within 30 days from the date of planting/sowing.

Customers should report the concern as soon as it becomes apparent rather than waiting until the end of the reporting period.

The customer may be requested to provide:

* Order/invoice number;
* Purchase date;
* Delivery date;
* Product/variety;
* Batch/Lot information, where available;
* Date of sowing;
* Quantity sown;
* Approximate area sown;
* Location of cultivation;
* Sowing method;
* Soil information;
* Irrigation/watering details;
* Photographs/videos;
* Germination observations; and
* Other relevant information reasonably requested by the Company.

⸻

15. 60-DAY MAXIMUM PURCHASE PERIOD

For Moringa International’s internal complaint-processing procedure, germination-related claims should in any event be submitted within 60 days from the date of purchase.

Claims first submitted after 60 days from purchase will ordinarily be treated as late claims and will not be accepted for refund/replacement processing under this Company policy, subject to applicable law.

Customers are therefore advised not to delay reporting a germination concern.

⸻

16. 30 DAYS AFTER PLANTING

A germination complaint reported more than 30 days after the date of planting/sowing will ordinarily be treated as outside the Company’s germination-claim period and will not be accepted for refund/replacement processing under this Company policy, subject to applicable law.

Accordingly, customers should report germination concerns promptly.

⸻

17. APPLICABLE CLAIM PERIOD

For clarity, the Company’s ordinary germination complaint-processing requirements are:

Germination concern → Report within 30 days from planting/sowing

and

Germination-related claim → Submit within 60 days from purchase

Claims submitted outside the applicable periods will ordinarily be rejected for refund/replacement processing under this Company policy, subject to applicable law.

⸻

18. GERMINATION VERIFICATION & TESTING

A customer’s allegation of poor germination does not by itself establish that the supplied seed was defective.

Moringa International may conduct or arrange appropriate verification and/or testing before deciding a refund or replacement request.

Depending on the circumstances, the Company may request:

* Remaining seed sample;
* Representative seed sample;
* Photographs;
* Videos;
* Sowing records;
* Cultivation information;
* Storage information;
* Field observations;
* Internal germination testing;
* Laboratory testing;
* Third-party testing; or
* Other reasonable evidence.

The Company may also review relevant batch/lot records and available quality-control information.

⸻

19. CUSTOMER SAMPLE RETENTION

Customers who intend to raise a germination complaint are encouraged to retain a representative portion of the unused seed from the relevant package.

Customers should not discard the remaining seed where they intend to request an investigation.

The Company may request a representative sample where necessary for verification or testing.

⸻

20. REFUND / REPLACEMENT

A germination complaint does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund or replacement.

Any refund or replacement, where applicable, will be considered only after the complaint has been reviewed and the relevant verification and/or testing has been completed.

The Company’s consideration may include:

* Purchase records;
* Product information;
* Batch/Lot information;
* Timing of the complaint;
* Seed sample availability;
* Testing results;
* Storage conditions;
* Sowing details;
* Cultivation conditions;
* Relevant quality-control records; and
* Applicable legal requirements.

Where the available verification/testing does not support the claimed defect, the Company may decline the refund or replacement request, subject to applicable law.

⸻

21. CUSTOMER CULTIVATION CONDITIONS

Moringa International does not control the customer’s field or cultivation environment.

Differences in soil, climate, temperature, rainfall, irrigation, water quality, sowing method, planting season, pest/disease conditions and agricultural practices may affect:

* Germination;
* Seedling establishment;
* Plant growth;
* Leaf production;
* Flowering;
* Pod development;
* Pod size;
* Yield; and
* Other plant characteristics.

Accordingly, differences in field performance alone do not automatically establish that the supplied seed was defective.

⸻

22. PLANT PERFORMANCE & YIELD

Agricultural performance may vary according to environmental and cultivation conditions.

Any information concerning plant growth, flowering, pod characteristics, yield or other agricultural performance should not be interpreted as an unconditional guarantee of a particular result unless expressly stated as such by the Company and permitted under applicable requirements.

Results achieved in one field, region, season or cultivation system may differ from results obtained elsewhere.

⸻

23. INTERNAL QUALITY CONTROL

Moringa International may maintain internal quality-control records relating to:

* Seed batches/lots;
* Processing;
* Packing;
* Storage;
* Germination checks;
* Product handling; and
* Other relevant quality-control procedures.

Where appropriate, these records may be reviewed during the investigation of a customer complaint.

The Company may also conduct periodic internal germination checks or arrange testing through suitable testing facilities.

⸻

24. CUSTOMER FIELD TESTS

Photographs, videos, field observations or customer-conducted germination tests may be considered during complaint investigation.

However, such evidence does not automatically establish the cause of an alleged germination failure.

Moringa International may request additional information, samples or appropriate testing before determining whether a refund or replacement is applicable.

⸻

25. BATCH / LOT TRACEABILITY FOR COMPLAINTS

Customers should retain:

* Invoice/order confirmation;
* Product packaging;
* Source-pack information, where supplied;
* Lot/Batch information, where available; and
* Relevant photographs/videos.

This information assists Moringa International in identifying the relevant product and investigating a complaint.

For customer-requested loose/repacked quantities, the Company may use its internal records to identify the source 1 kg pack or applicable lot where such records are available.

⸻

26. ORDINARY PRODUCT RETURNS

For unopened and unused products purchased directly from Moringa International, customers may contact the Company regarding a return request in accordance with the applicable return conditions.

Products intended for an ordinary return should generally be:

* Unopened;
* Unused;
* In original packaging;
* Undamaged; and
* Retaining relevant product identification.

Seed products that have been opened, partially used, treated, mixed, sown or otherwise altered may not qualify for an ordinary unopened-product return.

Germination complaints are handled separately under the Seed Germination Claim Policy.

⸻

27. WRONG PRODUCT / SHORTAGE

If a customer receives a product different from the product ordered, or an apparent shortage is identified, the customer should contact Moringa International promptly.

The Company may request:

* Order/invoice details;
* Photographs;
* Package photographs;
* Shipping label;
* Product details; and
* Other information required for verification.

Following investigation, the Company will determine the appropriate corrective action subject to the circumstances and applicable law.

⸻

28. LATE CLAIMS

Moringa International maintains defined reporting periods so that seed-related complaints can be investigated while relevant purchase, batch, storage and cultivation information is reasonably available.

Accordingly:

Germination complaints should be reported within 30 days from planting/sowing.

Germination-related claims should in any event be submitted within 60 days from purchase.

Late claims will ordinarily not be accepted for refund/replacement processing under this Company policy, subject to applicable law.

⸻

29. ACCURATE CUSTOMER INFORMATION

Customers submitting a complaint are expected to provide accurate information relating to:

* Purchase;
* Product;
* Storage;
* Planting/sowing;
* Cultivation;
* Germination; and
* Other relevant circumstances.

Incomplete, inaccurate or contradictory information may affect the Company’s ability to investigate the complaint.

⸻

30. APPLICABLE LAW

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, waive or override any right, remedy, obligation or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable law.

Where applicable law establishes a mandatory requirement, standard, procedure or remedy, that requirement shall prevail over any inconsistent provision of this policy.

This policy is intended to establish Moringa International’s ordinary commercial packaging, customer-support, return and complaint-processing procedures.

⸻

31. POLICY MODIFICATIONS

Moringa International may update these policies from time to time to reflect:

* Changes in products;
* Changes in business procedures;
* Changes in packaging procedures;
* Changes in applicable regulations;
* Quality-control improvements; or
* Customer-support requirements.

The policy applicable to a particular transaction will be determined subject to applicable law.

IMPORTANT CUSTOMER NOTICE

Customers are requested to:

1. Inspect the package after delivery.
2. Store seeds appropriately.
3. Retain the original packaging and purchase records.
4. Retain available Lot/Batch information.
5. Sow the seeds using appropriate cultivation practices.

8. Cooperate with reasonable verification/testing requested by the Company.

Moringa International’s germination-claim procedure is designed to ensure that complaints are investigated using purchase information, product traceability, cultivation information and appropriate verification/testing rather than being determined solely on the basis of an unsupported field-performance allegation.
